There are three NBA games on the schedule for tonight, and the first one does not tip off until 7:00 CT so that gives everyone an extra hour before lineups lock. Three games slates are usually difficult to find value, but you have to find value somewhere. Keep reading for our 3 value plays for tonight.
Tyrone Wallace– $3,900
Most of even the biggest NBA fans do not know who Tyrone Wallace is, but every daily fantasy basketball player will know him very soon. Wallace signed a two way contract with the L.A. Clippers last week, and has seen action in each of the three games since then. Last night, he put up a 40 burger at Oracle Arena on national television, and in his debut (also against the Warriors) he had 25.75 DK points. Wallace is a PG/SG and is definitely worth the $3,800 gamble tonight against the Kings. With three solid DK nights to start his career, he is due for a dud sometime soon, but a $3,800 dud is a lot easier to swallow than someone you paid up for laying an egg.
Davis Bertans– $4,500
Bertans is another one of those guys that Popovich worked a miracle on. Bertans has been a real contributor to the Spurs lately, and I expect that trend to continue tonight. Over the last 10 days, Bertans is averaging 25 DK points, and he almost put up 40 last time out. You can count on Bertans to at least give you 20 points, and hopefully more if he gets enough minutes. I really like Bertans tonight because of the blow out factor. The Spurs are playing the Lakers so there is about a 50/50 chance this game will be over by the end of the 3rd quarter. If this is a blow out, Bertans should get some extra minutes.
Brook Lopez– $4,500
I do not usually like playing either one of the Lopez brothers, but with tonight’s short slate, you just have to roll with some guys you’re not real confident in and hope for the best. BroLo can consistently give you 20-25, and every now and then he’ll flirt with 30. We just have to hope tonight is not one of his 15 points nights.
